For a salaried employee who is eligible for overtime, convert the annual salary to an hourly rate by dividing it by the expected annual work hours. Multiply overtime hours by that rate and the applicable overtime multiplier.

Overtime salary means the additional pay earned for hours worked beyond the standard work schedule. It is often calculated at a higher rate than regular pay, such as time and a half.
